LostArt TV caught up with Mr. Goldie recently to chat about the forthcoming Red Bull Music Academy Culture Clash. As the current holders of the Culture Clash crown, Metalheadz will be returning to The Roundhouse on October 14th to take on yet more bass-heavy Soundsystems

In this video, Goldie gives his take on soundclash culture & the Metalheadz family’s place within it. We’re also given an insight into the dubplates that are lurking in his loft for such an occasion!

On the 17th february, the Roundhouse in Camden played host to a unique piece of history in the form of London’s first cross-genre sound clash. 4 systems showed up to represent the spectrum of bass culture & it was down to the crowd to decide on the basis of 4 rounds who was the winner.

After a highly entertaining evening, Metalheadz were announced as the winners of the soundclash, which was also filmed for Channel 4.
